Here we are, another week, another show! This week we’ve got an interview with the CEO from Jedi Mind, Inc about their brain reading technologies along with some fantastic discussion regarding Doodles and Bugs. Adam recaps some time spent with Bioshock 2 Developers and how he didn’t like The Battle of Forli for Assassin’s Creed 2 while Ben cries about the AvP multiplayer demo. Jim says some stuff too.
This week on Shotgun we record at a special time so we can talk a LOT about Mass Effect 2! Jim responds to some voice mails and reader submitted questions. We announce the rules for our Army of Two giveaway which includes much fist bumping and bro hugging, Kragg beat Modeps without the aid of an arcade stick and listeners potentially die from liver failure!
We go from a high off our last episode to this low train wreck. Joined by a special guest host, Modeps and Ruumis keep it brief with a quick summation of the new Harry Potter game and their thoughts on StarCraft II’s lack of LAN support.
Modeps is a little excited about the Penguins taking this year’s Stanley Cup, and Ruumis was on vacation. We discuss the big Xbox 360 (and a half) rumor, as well as Peggle for the iPhone and Blueberry Garden.
Day 1 of E3 started officially today but this is day 2 of coverage. Lou and Jim talk about the two big ole conferences today, Nintendo and Sony. We touch upon a handful of things from each that we felt were interesting and/or awkward. Wii Vitality Monitor anyone?
Our first celebrity calls the show with an interesting question and DH11 provides his first impressions on the new Punch Out for the Nintendo Wii. From there we talk about Aliens vs Predator, the new RePlay that’s going on, and a bit more.
Ruumis is in a bit of a food coma after attending a burlesque show while Modeps announces the winners of the Zeno Clash giveaway and drinks soda.
Pwnophobia gives his take on Demigod, another wacky voice mail from our pal Daedalus, and talk about the newly released Lode Runner, Zeno Clash, and Survival patch for Left 4 Dead.
Email from Kragg brings with it a discussion of Nintendo’s online offerings and a tad of The World Ends With You, followed by plenty of Street Fighter IV talk and words about Capcom’s track record for including stuff on a disc, and making you pay extra for it.
